Book Review
This book review was written for a grant writing course that required us to read and review a book that was relevant to our grant writing experience. For our grant, we worked with the Sheridan Revitalization Movement, an organization focused on community-based efforts aimed at revitalizing the town of Sheridan, Oregon. I chose to read Grounded: A Senator’s Lessons on Winning Back Rural America by Jon Tester. I chose to review this book because it explored and contextualized some of the issues facing small-town America in an accessible and engaging manner.
